Awful service and huge waste of time. Swapped from a pharmacy due to opening hours and difficultly collecting my prescription. I thought the digital machine is a great idea as it would really help and take the stress from trying to plan collection. I called Davey's before transferring, to ask about the service, at no point was it mentioned there were restrictions to this option. Later transferred over and signed up to the scheme, again no information given about restrictions. On the first collection the items didn't go into the machine as there was a one off large bottle which was too big and I was told the pharmacist may have missed it on the sticker, and it would be fine next time, fair enough. Now it comes to my second collection today and I've been told I cannot use the service due to the prescription I am on and that when I queried the service previously they wouldn't have known the tablets I take... Even though I discussed my medication and the service face to face with the assistant previously. Why wasn't this highlighted at any point over the last few visits and phone calls? Even without knowing my prescription, it would have simply been advised about restricted medications which would have highlighted the service would not be for me. Now I have had to cancel my full prescription to hopefully find somewhere to issue today. I don't know the assistants name, but it has been the same person I have spoken to every time on the phone and in person. A younger Indian male assistant, none of the ladies, he needs retraining to be able to actually assist correctly.
Very unhelpful attitude from the counter assistant. Been sent texts to book covid booster for daughter with special needs. Has various health issues. Told she isn’t eligible when daughter left the shop very embarrassed he said they were checking again. Too late. Took a lot to get her there.
Myself and my son had our covid vaccinations here - fantastic. Each time we had the same person. Can't remember her name. A doctor. Female tall lady. Lovely genuine person. Painless injection. Our my son and me at ease.
