1. What Pinloco is

Pinloco (pinloco.com) is a hyperlocal business discovery platform operated by Pinloco Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. We help people discover independent local businesses across Manchester, Salford, and Trafford.

2. Using the site

By using Pinloco, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

You can browse business listings, read town feeds, and explore neighbourhoods without an account. Creating an account (via magic link email) lets you save businesses to PlanLoco plans and share them.

3. Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your email account secure, as it's your login method. One account per person. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms.

4. Business listings

Business information on Pinloco is compiled from publicly available sources and AI-generated descriptions. We aim for accuracy but don't guarantee that every detail (opening hours, phone numbers, descriptions) is correct or current.

Business owners can claim their listing and update their information directly. Claimed listings are marked accordingly. If you spot incorrect information, let us know at [email protected].

5. Business subscriptions

Business owners can subscribe to paid plans (Local Hero, Premium Listing, Featured Partner) for increased visibility. Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You can cancel at any time — your plan stays active until the end of the billing period.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers keep their current price until they cancel or change plan.

6. PlanLoco plans

PlanLoco lets you save and organise businesses into shareable plans. Plans you create are private by default. If you share a plan via its public link, anyone with that link can view it. You can delete your plans at any time.

7. How we rank businesses

Pinloco does not use pay-to-rank advertising or auction-based placement. Paid subscribers appear in dedicated “Local Sponsors” sections, clearly labelled. Sponsor placement rotates fairly — no business can pay to permanently occupy a top spot. Non-paying businesses appear in all other sections based on relevance, ratings, and category.

8. Your content

If you submit content (business descriptions, plan names, reviews, notes), you retain ownership but grant Pinloco a licence to display it on the platform. Don't submit anything illegal, defamatory, or that you don't have the right to share.

9. What we're not responsible for

Pinloco is a discovery platform. We don't guarantee the quality, safety, or availability of any listed business. Reviews reflect individual opinions, not ours. Any transaction between you and a business is between you and them.

The site is provided “as is”. We do our best to keep it running but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We're not liable for any indirect or consequential losses from using Pinloco.

10. Intellectual property

The Pinloco name, logo, design, and original content are owned by Pinloco Ltd. Business data displayed on the platform may come from public sources and AI-generated descriptions. You may not scrape, copy, or redistribute Pinloco's content or database without permission.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the new terms. Material changes will be communicated clearly.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
