About
This supermarket is known for its large selection of items at competitive prices, with a focus on fresh produce and bakery goods. The spacious car park makes it convenient for larger shopping trips, and the middle aisle often features a variety of deals. Self-checkout machines are available and accommodate larger shops, allowing for efficient packing. The store’s regular offers and well-stocked shelves make it a practical choice for weekly food shopping.
Customer Reviews
Huge selection of items at great prices. Self checkouts are actually made for larger shops, which is great when you want to spend the time packing your bags. Only found this place by chance when taking a walk down the river park. A much more enjoyable shopping experience than my usual (Aldi, Arndale)
The offer is actually quite decent but the entire staff here acts like customers are beneath them and really, they're just doing us a favour manning the til. If I want to see sour faces and unhelpful staff I know where I'm going! Lidl Salford!
The manager of the tills is very rude. I go to this location weekly with my partner for a big food shop. Consistently there are no tills open so we have to go to the self checkouts. The manager here is rude to us every single week. Every single week he looks at us like we're dirt and rudely tells us to go to the tills and wait. I don't mind waiting, I don't mind the tills but I do mind being spoken to like rubbish. I understand people have bad days or things can become busy and stressful but this has happened weekly for months and I see him doing it to other people also. Here's a conversation I just had with him: - Him: "Go to the tills. " - Me: "None are open. " - Him: "Go to the tills. " - Me: "I'm sorry but none are open." - Him: "Are you scared? Go over. " - Me: "No tills are open!" - Him: "Fine, I'll call someone over." Could we not have started with the last point?
