Didn’t have any issues. Went in quick, got what I wanted.
Average store. Not a fan of the security guard with glasses here, follows you around as if you're a criminal and then tries to interfere when using the till because I used a Nectar card on my phone then paid. Also witnessed him shouting at other customers at tills before. There's no need to interfere or stalk people. Also noticed that whenever the bald guy with beard is on he instructs everyone to close early. I've had to argue at the door 20 minutes before closing because they locked it and wouldn't let me in claiming they were closed and then reluctantly let me in when I showed the time. The other 3 occasions this has happened it was the same manager on shift and had everyone close the tills, chillers. This only happens on his shift, every other manager closes at 11pm and not 10:40pm
Today my partner went to this Sainsbury to buy medicine for myself and him who got a really bad flu. We lived next to it and it’s our usual shopping site. However, today while my partner getting medicine (no sign saying you can’t get both paracetamol and ibropofen) the security guard yelled at him twice from the till saying it’s restricted (there’s no sign so no precaution can be taken). My partner understood, but the security guard yelled it again. My partner kindly asked could you please not yelled at me. The security guard yelled again “you don’t understand so I need to yell” with other customers looking at him. Leaving my partner feeling helpless, vulnerable and attacked. We demand a sincere apology from store manager and the security for bad manner and customer service.
