Wonderful escape into nature, offering the perfect mix of scenic beauty, wildlife, and outdoor activities. Whether you're looking for a peaceful walk, a family day out, or a bit of adventure, this park delivers.
Great place to walk picnic let the dog loose. Swimming is strongly advised against but people swim anyway. There is a café with contactless pay. overall a good area for the family to spend the day
Great bike trails and walks. Lovely marina and bits of history throughout. There's a sculpture walk around the marina too so lots to see and do. I maybe saw 20% of the whole place and will definitely be back to scope out the rest. Ample parking and an on site cafe by the main entrance (close to the marina). Can be joined at kearsley station or Salford crescent station side if desired with minimal road crossings to enter. I'd recommend the main entrance off Bolton road near Clifton cricket ground (look for the brown signposts)
