Ordered and travelled to this store (not our local one) for an outdoor playhouse as a gift for Christmas, which we collected. Only to find out on Christmas day (after spending 2 hours building it) we had been given the incorrect one that’s much cheaper on the website. Cannot get hold of the store to discuss no one answering the phone, email responses from customer service are AI generated so no resolution at all. Very poor customer service for all angles!
They have a frustrating no-returns policy on faulty items. I bought a foam chair for my child, which turned out to be far too sturdy and therefore unsafe. The staff were not helpful when I raised the issue. It is much easier to buy from Amazon, where returns are straightforward and customer service is far more reliable.
Been here lately and got to say that the staff there are so unhelpful as first time I ask a question about a console and her attitude stunk it got me leaving there feeling annoyed as I came back again the next day thinking it was just that one person who's attitude stunk and it's seems like all the staff there are the same.. it's stopped me going back to this store as can not believe there employing such unprofessional staff... shame on you Smyths you should be ashamed of yourselfs😡
