About
A Burmese restaurant serving dishes inspired by the region’s cuisine, this spot has become a lunchtime favourite for locals and nearby workers. The menu features curries such as tamarind pork and split pea masala, alongside samosas and tea leaf salad. Portions are generous, and the food is well-regarded for its distinct flavours. Social media mentions highlight the pork tamarind curry as a standout choice. The restaurant also operates a stand at a local food market, extending its reach beyond the neighbourhood. It has gained a reputation as a reliable spot for those exploring Burmese-inspired dishes.
Customer Reviews
The food here is awesome, would highly recommend the Pork Tamarind curry, the service is great also. The prices are a little on the high side. It’s a shame to see it always so empty, but I feel this may be why. With it being close to so many workplaces I feel you may be out pricing the lunchtime crowd, a lunch time offer would be great, a £10+ spend on lunch, albeit great food means it can only be a treat every once in a while, so many people opt for the cheaper options nearby
The place, although name says Burmese restaurant, it didn't have many Burmese dishes on the regular menu. The food is quite tasty, but the portions are on the small end. The restaurant is more catering the nearby business and not to experience the authentic Burmese dishes (evident by the limited menu choices during regular business hours). They only prepare the traditional Burmese food (like Mohinga, a traditional stable street food) during special event that runs occasionally. This is a bummer. If you're looking for Burmese food, this isn't the place.
Nila makes some amazing food, ive been here a few times at lunch time and it always hits the spot, ive heard the local businesses praising the high quality of the food here too! Try the pork its amazing, i also love the chicken but haven’t tried the beef yet
