the service could be faster. There should always be someone available at the cashier to serve customers all the time. The store needs to be more organized — a few shelves were empty during my visits. Also, the prices are more expensive compared to other places.
This must be one of the worse Co-Op stores in the city centre. Considering it is so close to the HQ you often go in to find a lack of items on the shelf, many special offers are not available here such as the Steak deal a few weeks ago. Often you go in with cages and trucks blocking the tiny Isles and staff often seem frustrated you are in their way. If you go in later in the evening, many items are just not there such as Pepsi Max and many other gaps on the shelves. It's a shame Co-op chose to buy the unit under Angel Gardens to stop Tesco moving in, this is a far better space. Luckily however, Tesco have now opened round the corner on Oldham Road, and I for one am using it far more often now despite being further away. I challenge the senior staff at the HQ to visit this store un announced at several times of the day to appreciate what you put your customers through. On a side not why don't you even stock Warburton Tea Cakes? This is a staple...but again, luckily Tesco stock them.
Staff are all absolutely lovely. I come here often and have always been served by lovely employees, not a single complaint. They're all wonderful people and make this a shop I'm happy to come to all the time! Apart from the lovely employees the stock here is always good and it is in a very convenient location.
