Hosted my partner’s 30th birthday party in the function room, and Mark, the owner, was brilliant in the lead-up to the event. He was very helpful with the setup, music and food options, which made the planning straightforward. On the night itself, the staff were excellent being accommodating, attentive and provided fantastic service throughout the evening. Would happily recommend for a private event!!!
Nice pub. I've been here many times and they are consistently above average. Foods always really good. Beers well kept and in good condition. The rooms available are suitable for there purpose, wakes party's etc. Floor similar to other pubs in the area. During the week it's quite and easy to get a seat. Weekends are busy, sanexas all the local pubs. Book or be patient. Overall a good family friendly atmosphere.
We held our mum’s wake at The Bowling Green Pub and couldn’t have asked for a better place. The room was perfect for what we needed, the food was excellent, and the staff were genuinely some of the nicest we’ve ever come across. Everyone was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. They helped make a difficult day much easier for our family, and we’re very grateful.
