About

This small Chinese noodle restaurant specialises in authentic dishes, with a focus on noodle soups and bao buns. The beef brisket noodle soup and chicken soup are frequently mentioned, alongside dishes like you po mien, a Xi’an-style noodle dish with a distinctive red sauce. The menu also includes pork bao buns and Peking duck platters. From time to time, there are deals such as buy-one-get-one-free offers. The chef, often described as enthusiastic, prepares meals with care, and scallions feature prominently in many dishes. Situated by the quayside, it’s a spot where diners can enjoy their meal with a view.

First time trying Mien. Just had the veg (just broccoli)& tofu soup noodles. BF had the pork soup noodles. Both comes with a boiled egg. The noodles had a good texture . The soup base was full of flavour. My tofu was fried but soft in a mild tasty marinade, the broccoli was cooked perfectly. The pork was soft, tender and the pork fat melt in mouth. Good size portion. We both think its better than the other soup noodle place here. Delicious. (Review coming from someone who's chinese mother is the best cook - fact)

Very good quality of food. I saw buy 1 get 1 free, and the owner offer us a special dishes - you po mien (油泼面) which is surprisingly tasty and authentic as a Xi’an taste. We ordered another chicken soup noodle which is also refresh in winter days. The chef is friendly, the owner helped to take food upstairs which is even more surprising . Recommend to people who’s coming to visit media city especially Chinese 中国人都来吃!
