Scoff & Banter MediaCity

Staying in Media City and decided to try the Scoff & Banter. Wow, absolutely wow. I turned up in shorts and a Band T-shirt and expected to be turned away, however Michael & his Team welcomed me, got me a table and a little while later I was tucking into my main of Pork Belly with dauphinoise potatoes, roasted carrots and a red wine jus. Every bite was amazing, the pork was cooked to perfection, the carrots and the dauphinoise were piping hot and the jus, I could have stuck my face in it because it was that good. What really surprised me was, the entire main did not need any additional seasoning. For dessert I chose the Chocolate Fondant with ice cream. Which was superb. I will request staying near to Media City for future visits just so I can come here. Thanks to the Team at Scoff and Banter for one of the best meals I have ever had.

I have dined in this restaurant for the past 7 years for our family christmas day lunch. This year it had changed to Scoff and Banter( previously Marco Pierre White). Booking the meal was as smooth as its always been. Hannah once again made our booking of 18 smooth sailing ensuring it was stress free. I was slightly nervous about it changing names and hoped that it would be as good as our previous years. My family and I was simply blown away! The food was on another level since changing to Scoff and Banter. Starters of winter squash soup or Ham hock terrine with Pickle carrot was enjoyed by all. We was off to a good start and there was compliments up and down the table of how everyone enjoyed their first course. Main course came next and it choices were a traditional turkey roast with all the trimmings, Nut roast with all the trimmings, salmon with risotto or slow braised beef cheek. Across our table of 18 all of the family had chosen at least 1 of all the above choices. The feedback across the table again was WOW.! Truly delicious food the Braised beef cheek with roasted garlic mash and red wine jus was absolutely stunning according to my husband and son. Myself I had the turkey roast with all the trimmings and again wow! Everything was cooked to perfection! For a table of 18 everyone's meal was served hot and served personally by name according to the excell sheet I provided at the booking. I thought this was a perfect touch personally, as being the person who books each year i normally get to the table and everyone forgets what they order and ask me to check. Dessert again another big thumbs up from all, for me the christmas crumble was a perfect finish to a extremely tasty christmas meal. We will most definitely be booking again next year! What was lovely to see was the previous staff who had served us under Marcos sharing our Christmas with us once again. The service was 10/10 - super friendly and attentive just what we needed on christmas day. Many thanks Scoff and Banter for making our Christmas dinner so deliciously tasty! We may have to visit throughout the year! X
