About
This pizza spot focuses on freshly made pies, with a menu that includes options like nduja and honey-topped pizzas. The dough is prepared on-site, and the pizzas are designed to be shared or enjoyed individually. There are occasional menu updates, and takeaway boxes are available for unfinished slices. The team is noted for their understanding of ingredients and preparation methods, and the pizzas are crafted in an open kitchen setting.
Customer Reviews
The first pizza I received was raw, excusable to a degree as I took it back and they made me a new one (thank you!). However, the second one was also raw (although not as bad), so I decided to take it home to cook more in the oven as to not make a fuss. I went and asked for a takeaway box, apparently they're 50p, the woman on the counter decided to then argue with me when I questioned if I could just have it due to my previous (as in 10 minutes ago) bad experience and she just said, "well you got a new pizza, didn't you?". Literally went to another stall and explained the situation and they were more than happy to just give me a box. £17 overall spent on bad pizza (but very tasty aoili), to then literally argue with me over a 50p pizza box. Bad pizza, atrocious service, will not be returning and will be warning everyone I can about this piss poor performance.
After having the worst pizza in my life a few days before in another restaurant, I walk into this food court and saw the pies these guys were making, they looked very good and I ordered one for myself. I can tell you that the pizza tasted excellent. I ordered the extra burratta and it was worth every penny. I will definitely come back here every time I visit Manchester. To finalize my review, the food court is very nice, plenty of tables, clean and cleaner restrooms.
Last visited January 2024 I'm trying all the kitchens at Kargo. I've been to LEOPARD PIE a few times now. Freshly made, good to share with items from other kitchens but also good on its own. Thumbs up. I'll update this posting the next time I try something new.
