I dare say this is one of the better locations for food quality, the chef does a great job and most of the staff are brilliant. However there is one member of staff who is rather grumpy and judgemental makes me and some others rather uncomfortable, Whenever I see the older lady working I don't bother going in. Noticed a few times she would put up a great smile in front of ppl then talk badly of them behind their backs. Don't let that put you off though.
My partner, Steen & I called in there, on a May Bank Holiday weekend, it was a Saturday evening and we could tell it had been quite busy, that day as the salad bar they have looked as though it had been well ransacked. The fact that one or two customers, still sat in their with their football shirts on showed why it had been busy, because there had been a football match on close by, that day also. From going in, we waited quite a while for someone to come over and show us where we were going to be seated and then a little while after, another young waiter came up to take our orders too. I had their vegan apple pie with vegan ice cream and didn't have to wait too long back there, after my order was taken though and a real generous plate full., it was delicious also. You could have it with vegan custard or ice cream, my personal preference was the ice cream also. It's interesting as they make their own sauces, bottled up too and around 5 or so flavours, from what I could see on a picture up on a wall, in their restaurant also., nice one! The seats we sat on, came across a bit shot at, as they say. Rips down the middle of them, but apart from that, the decor in there was okay on the whole. I would love to go again in there ahead, as that desert I had was sublime!
Lovely meal with superb customer service. Sadie looked after us really well and we thoroughly enjoyed our time eating here. I had the chicken waffle bacon stack and my wife had ribeye steak which was cooked exactly as we’d requested with our waitress. Salad bar stocked well, clean and tidy. Table and menus were very clean. Thank you Harvester team at Lowry Outlet Mall!
