The Halwa Poori Channay were 5/5 and if that was the only thing we ordered, our overall rating would have been 5/5. What let our experience down was the Desi Nashta and specifically the Parathas. They were very dry, almost as if they were overcooked. We didn't see the trademark flakiness common in Desi Parathas. The Omellete and Channay made up for it though and overall I would give the Desi Nashta a 3/5. I hope this was a temporary blip as the Parathas in the photos look really good. And finally, the Karak Chaii was very nice. The level of sweetness was perfect for us. If you don't strike a balance with the sweetness, it can become sickly. We were happy that wasn't the case here. Service was good and the seating area is modern and cosy. We will be back at some point to try the other items on the menu.
A pleasant experience coming here first time. Nice choice of items on the menu and deserts and drinks were nice. Order consisted of churros, falooda, kunafa cheesecake, iced coffee, karak chai and milkcake. Kunafa cheesecake tasted a little stale and not what im used to so didnt finish it and milk cake was basic. I've had better and because I eat a lot of it i know when its good but rest of stuff was okay. Not a bad place if you just want something basic.
Absolutely loved the food at Mi Chaii Cheethamhill The service was spot on, and the staff were super friendly. I had the Butter chicken and meat keema with peas, and it was cooked to perfection. The flavors were amazing, and the portion was generous. Can't wait to go back and try more dishes! Highly recommend"
