Was passing time while waiting for a friend, she recommended having a look around Afflecks while I waited as I'm not from Manchester. It is a fantastic store, when I saw the massage place I popped in to see if they did walk ins. I got a 20 mins back and shoulder massage. The guy was very friendly and professional, noted where I had tension and focused on those areas. I left feeling amazing will definitely return next time I'm in Manchester.
I went to Malai Thai Massage yesterday for a head, neck and shoulder massage. I was immediately welcomed by the owner, who treated me with care and made sure I felt comfortable all throughout the massage. She is kind, thoughtful and professional. She not only massaged my shoulders, head and neck, but explained the importance of treating my whole back to improve blood flow and provide pain relief. I left feeling very relaxed, my shoulder and back pain greatly diminished. I will definitely come back. Please ignore the negative reviews, if you're looking for a good (and affordable!) massage in the city centre, this is the place to go.
Really bad experience. I never leave bad reviews, but this experience was just a joke. It was supposed to be a 20min neck massage for £15. After 10 minutes she said that I was done! She gave me £4 back and said she had another customer coming. During the 10 minutes, it was not relaxing. She really rushed it and went out of the room twice to see other customers. I got a big shock when her phone (which was next to my head on the table) rang so load in my ear with an awful ring tone. I thought it was a hidden camera show it was that bad! Awful!
