AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. Should be a minus 1 rating. I took a pair of dining room lined curtains, asked can they be cleaned and the manager said yes. Went to pick them up and they had shrunk by at least 2 to 3 inches. You can see the lining 1 inch longer than the curtain fabric. I strongly complained and requested he source an exact replacement pair. Manager flatly refused saying amongst other lies that, I brought them in like that, the cleaning label is wrong and I should complain to the manufacturer. It's not his fault at all. When I asked did he check the washing label he didn't know what half of the symbols meant apart from wash at 40 degrees. He caught himself out when he offered to hem the fabric level with the lining which suggests he knows he's ruined the curtains. I'm going to see what legal route I can take but notice in the reviews he's ruined other people's curtains. I urge customers not to use this place but find an alternative.
We had to use this laundromat as a backup option since the nearby "Revolution Laundry / Wasch.Me" station was temporarily unavailable and we’re glad we did! We were able to wash clothes for three people on short notice without any problems. The staff was very friendly and helpful, making the whole process easy and pleasant. The only minor downside: card payment is not available. However, there’s a cash machine within walking distance, so it wasn’t a big issue. All in all, a great experience. Would definitely come again if needed.
I recently utilized Prestwich Laundrette for the first time, needing a quick solution for my Airbnb bedding and towels while my regular service was unavailable. I was pleasantly surprised by the affordability and the exceptional customer service I received. The pricing was fair, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure a satisfactory experience. Will definitely be returning!
