About
Tucked down a staircase near a waterway between buildings, this weathered bronze statue depicts a horse and fox. It sits in a quiet spot that feels separate from the surrounding city, with the nearby canal adding to the sense of seclusion. The monument has become a minor landmark for those exploring the area on foot, often discovered while walking towards Manchester Art Gallery. Though showing signs of age, its unexpected location and the contrast with the urban surroundings make it a distinctive feature of the area.

I found the statue, it is located close to a waterway down the stairs between a few Buildings. It seems a little old and damaged. But it was a great experience locating it. I found it on the way to Manchester Art Gallery.
Great π π hidden area. It's wonderful when you walk in the city center with magnificent architecture, go down a hidden staircase and find yourself in another world. A world of π water and silence.
