Drinkwater Park is a place of peace and memory, full of wild beauty and still waters that reflect the sky like a dream. 🌳✨ It’s not just a walk — it’s a sanctuary where you can think, breathe, and feel connected to nature. Every path, every bridge, every ripple tells a story. A true hidden treasure for anyone who wants to step out of the noise and into something timeless. 💜
Nice spot for a quiet walk or run, especially early in the morning. Decent mix of open space, woods, and paths by the water. Good access to the river and some scenic bits along the Irwell Sculpture Trail. Not much in terms of facilities though. No toilets or café, and bins can be limited. Great if you want a bit of nature close to Manchester without big crowds.
Drinkwater Park is a great place to wonder around, it has multi use paths, Bridleway, Cycling and Walkers. They're wide enough for everyone. The only problem I have with it is that there's no Bins for Doggy Bags and these so called dog lovers have dropped hundreds of them all around the park..🐶💩
