Customer Reviews
Absolutely fabulous. We had the sweetcorn and coconut soup. Fishcake and chicken skewers. Just about managed puddings. Definitely one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time. All the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is chilled. Whoever the chefs are, they deserve a pay rise!
⭐️ ⭐️ it's gone down hill so much - so sad 👎🏻 Been coming here 15+ years - been twice the last six months including last night and it's just not up to standard. When I came around six months ago, I gave the manager my feedback and her justification was 'we were just really busy tonight' It was the same last night; 👎🏻 overcooked food 👎🏻 semi standard service 👎🏻long wait between start and main 👎🏻even longer wait for tables to be cleared We were asked only once if we wanted extra drinks - once? I was driving, but my mate usually shovels them down - how does a business operate by NOT topping up its punters. And the whole 'the kitchen was just really busy tonight' line is so cheap - You're a restaurant - serving food is literally what you do 🤦🏼♂️ And also, there's empty tables at the back of the restaurant - If a half empty restaurant equates to a 'busy kitchen', your staffing isn't sufficient for your restaurant. The staff stand around at the till talking while people sit with dirty tables There's inconsistency in service standards There's long waits for every item We ate our food because we realised last time the manager doesn't take feedback on - But at £50 per head for overcooked lamb rump, salty arincini, and sub-standard service It's definitely not got things right. We won't be returning for a good while.
Had a lovely Sunday afternoon here. My husband and I shared the 3 meat roast dinner and it was lovely. My son had a burger and my daughter the cheese and onion pie. All delicious. Staff were lovely and friendly and the live guitar music was great too. We will definitely be back here in the future.
