About
A major transport hub in central Manchester, this historic station connects trains and trams with restored architecture adding character. Efficient links make it easy to navigate, with multiple exits leading to nearby areas including the Arndale shopping centre. The station includes Costa Coffee and maintains a clean, well-organised layout with visible security patrols. An indoor memorial remains alongside the newer outdoor Memorial Garden. Photos show the space can be quieter outside peak times. The station’s blend of functionality and heritage makes it a key interchange point for travel across the city.

One of the best journeys with hardly any waiting time. Transportation was on time and linked up nicely. These are last years photos taken on July 27th 2024. It’s still the same place.

Busy but well organised railway and tram station. Security patrols visible, clean. Still has the indoor memorial despite the outdoor Memorial Garden being open
