Kabul Karahi & Grill is a great place for authentic Afghan and Pakhtoon food. I visited last night with my family and really enjoyed the experience. The food was excellent, especially the lamb karahi, seekh boti, and Kabuli pulao. Everything was full of flavour and cooked really well. The service was good and the overall environment felt welcoming and lively. One thing to note is that it can get a bit smoky at times since the BBQ counter is close to the seating area. The space is also a little congested with limited seating, so you may need to wait during busy hours. Some dishes are slightly on the higher side price wise, but the quality makes it worth it. Overall, a very good experience and definitely a place to visit if you’re looking for real Afghan and Pakhtoon cuisine in Manchester.
The food was lovely. Just a personal preference that I like more spices in my food. However, the food was clean and appreciated by everyone. The service was polite, friendly and really welcoming. Always smiling. It was an event with colleagues after work so the atmosphere was good for our chatty group. The chapli kebab was our star, crispy on the outside and lush on the inside.
One of our favourite meals this year! We cannot wait to come back and enjoy more of what Kabul Karahi has to offer. We got the Chicken Charsi Karahi & the Kabali Pilao rice.. absolutely delicious! So fresh, the bread is made on-site and great! Also that rice omg.....the best! You will be seeing me soon!
