About

This supermarket is a reliable spot for everyday essentials, from fresh produce and bakery items to household goods. It has a straightforward layout with wide aisles and two entrances—one facing the car park with ample parking bays, the other near Stockport Road with a cashpoint. The store stocks a range of food and daily necessities, and self-checkouts are available. Staff have been noted for going out of their way to help locate items. Tesco Clubcard deals feature here, and the store has become a local staple since Iceland closed. Some cashiers, like Faisal, are known for their cheerful service.

Tesco Superstore is one of those places that simply does the job — reliably. It’s spacious, easy to navigate, and usually well-stocked across the basics: fresh produce, bakery, household items, and the “grab-and-go” bits when you’re in a rush. I also appreciate the consistency: you know what you’re getting, and it’s rare to leave without finding what you came for. The layout is generally straightforward, and self-checkouts make quick trips faster (when they’re not overloaded). Staff have been helpful whenever I’ve needed something specific, and the store feels clean and organised most of the time. Prices can vary depending on promotions, but with Clubcard deals it’s often good value — especially for staples. Parking is usually decent too, which matters when you’re doing a bigger shop. Tip: if you want a calmer experience, go early morning or later evening — peak hours can get busy, especially on weekends.

This store has a easy access car park to the rear, with wide space parking bays. There are two entrances, one facing the car park and another towards Stockport Road where there is a cash point. I didn't do any shopping, only used cash point.

Do most of the basic stuff that one might need on daily basis, still for some reason the store feels really dull. The best thing was Cashier named Faisal .. He is very energetic, joyful, Smile on the face and very helpful..
