We went here recently with very high expectations and were left a little unsatisfied. As good as the Pancakes were, they were served to us in a lukewarm state, roughly around the 20 degrees Celsius mark, if I had to guess. They would have been perfect if they were hot. We felt that maybe we were not served a fresh batch. When we entered the establishment, it wasn't busy, so we expected something hot and fresh. We were served fairly quickly, which gave me the impression that the Pancakes were not cooked at that time. If I'm wrong, please do let me know and I'll order a different variant on my next visit. It could be that the sauce atop the Pancakes was the reason why they weren't as warm as we expected. Having said all of the above, the Pancakes were still very good. We also ordered the Tiramisu Croffle - again, quite delicious. Not the best we've had in the Greater Manchester region, but still relatively tasty. The Mango Matcha was a bit of a letdown due to the thick Mango syrup at the bottom. We tried mixing it, but we just couldn't get the syrup to dissolve. We ended up drinking all of the Matcha milk first, essentially leaving us with a Mango juice at the end.
AMAZING find! There was no wait. Placed our order at the register and food delivered to our table. Fluffy pancakes remind me just like the ones in Japan. Delicious flavors. It was perfect for my birthday weekend! Arigato!
In one word "amazing". They take a little while (roughly 20 for our two) to make so don't go if you're in a rush. Lovely blueberry lemonade, felt like blended blueberry rather than blueberry flavour syrup. Epic creme brulee pancakes. So soft, not eggy at all. Custard just the right consistency, not overly sweet and a lovely subtle flavour. The brulee top, perfect and added the crunch and texture that was needed. The brulee banana was an added bonus. Wish we lived closer so I could go again and again and again.
