Customer Reviews
I have been using this pharmacy for years and never had a problem. I order my prescription through the NHS app and I get sent a text message as soon as it’s ready. Good service all round. Thank you
I recently moved and updated my pharmacy on the NHS app. My GP approved my prescription for delivery to Cohens Pharmacy. Unfortunately, they called the wrong number and, instead of checking or trying to resolve this, they simply sent my prescription back to my old pharmacy. When I went in to collect my inhalers, they weren’t in stock. The staff were not only unhelpful but also defensive when I asked for assistance. Rather than showing a duty of care, the receptionist brushed me off with “whatever” and went on to serve other people. At no point did anyone take responsibility or make an effort to help me access essential medication before travelling. In contrast, later that evening another pharmacy showed exactly what good service looks like. Their pharmacist listened, explained my options clearly, and quickly arranged a safe alternative. Thanks to their professionalism and genuine care, I was able to get my medication in time. This experience highlighted the stark difference between a team who upholds their duty to patients and one that does not. At Cohens Pharmacy, I felt dismissed and left to manage on my own — which is unacceptable when it comes to essential medication.
My mums prescription was accidentally sent to this chemist rather than the one on Barlow road (she usually avoids this one on Stockport road due to staff being unhelpful, unwelcoming and lacking sympathy) When my mum went to pick up her sleeping tablets she found that the staff had given her prescription to the wrong person?! To no surprise staff were unable to provide much clarity, she has got her prescription however so does some other random person who could god forbid be allergic or sell them, I have tried to submit a form on the cohens website to get more clarity on the situation however it keeps failing resulting in me having to share this here
