Slade Lane Post Office

I visited this branch of Post office at Slade Lane to have my Identity Documents checked for further applications The male member of staff on duty at about 10:15 h was very assertive, professionally assertive: he went through my file and selected the key supporting documents required. He took his time and did my selective task for me, which I found very helpful and supportive. Furthermore, he ran extra mile to give me some guidance and recommendations about the processing time of my potential application, which I contracted to words of mouth and found his recommendations very reassuring.It is good that somewhere there is out there some people, like this member of staff at Slade Lane, N13, who goil out to work to help clients first of firsts but not to count hours in the shift to get money. I believe, he would also be available to do voluntary work at his place of work if required. I might even speculate that he gets full satisfaction in correctly helping others rather than receiving a financial reward. At no time, did he look at his watch to time the tasks. Instead he kept a friendly eye contact, which highlighted me from the first minute of our interaction that he was there to guide me correctly. I have a few close local post offices in my post code, some even closer to my house. However, if I need essential guidance related to post office services, I will only attend his branch to seek assistance, especially if he is there. My apology for the fact I did not take his name, nevertheless, he was the only member of the staff in the counter area at around 10:10 this morning of Saturday 7th of March 2026. Assalamu Alaikum, how are you all? I often come to the post office to deposit money. A sister and brother work here. Masha Allah, their service is very good and they deal very well. I like their way of doing things very much. May Allah always keep them happy and prosperous.

Gobsmacked at what I saw today in the post office. I witnessed the Asian man behind the counter being very rude to the postman. Postman was nothing but professional and friendly, and the rude man started making a scene, shouting at the postman for no apparent reason. Also kept us in the que waiting by answering his phone and disappearing in the back for a few minutes, which also kept the postman waiting. It looked like he did it on purpose to be awkward. Very rude, obnoxious, and unprofessional behaviour. Won't be using this post office again, and kudos to the postman on his professionalism!!!
