We visited Sage and Vine for a meal last night and I can honestly say, it was the best pizza I’ve ever had! And that’s coming from a certified piglet who has had many pizzas in their lifetime. We ordered 3 small plates to share as a starter - croquettes, patatas bravas and ham hock. They were all delicious and fairly ample for small plates. We both ordered burrata pizza which as I said, was spectacular with great quality toppings and a fluffy crust. The service and atmosphere was lovely as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will come again should I ever find myself back in Carlisle.
Had a lovely meal here the other day. The staff were absolutely lovely and spent ages explaining the menu for us. Nothing was too much trouble! The food was lovely and reasonably priced, although all of us agreed it could have been a little bit more seasoned and flavourful. However we still really enjoyed it and would come back again.
We had no booking but they squeezed us in, little one in tow and the staff were lovely about it. The pricing was great, the presentation was amazing. Excellent flavour combinations and top notch food. The calamari was overdone, (although that might be a UK thing, I’ve found every seafood meal here to be over), but everything else was phenomenal.
