Excellent and fresh coffee bean. Lots of choices of single origin bean available. Lots of coffee tools. Vintage decorations. Relaxing vibe. A must-visit place in Carlisle city centre. I see there are hot meals and cakes. Worth reserve a place in stomach next time.

This is an independent coffee shop serving great coffee and local produce. A large variety of coffees & teas are available to take away. Why have a corporate coffee when you have Watts on your doorstep. The route to the toilets is a treasure trove of old packaging & machinery.

Wonderful historic and characterful cafe serving excellent tea and coffee and great food. A trip to the toilet in the cellar is an experience in itself, through a myriad of historical items. Service was attentive and friendly, and the food was excellent and great value. We had one breakfast bap - virtually a full English and a very generous pot of tea at a great price. Plus poached eggs with black pudding (very, very good black pudding) and divine cheese scones. Endless variety of top quality packaged coffees and teas to take away too. You get a real sense of being somewhere steeped in history. A perfect brunch stop on our journey further north, so much more a break than a motorway cafe.
