Customer Reviews
I ordered myself a "treat" seeing as I'm stuck home alone on New Years Eve. What I received was far from it. The delivery was in the time that was promised, the man who delivered it was very friendly - kudos for having a smile on your face in this weather! The food is a different story. I ordered two poppadoms, no problem there, but the "salad" consisted of nothing but shredded lettuce, a wedge of lime and a slice of Cucumber. The mint sauce is terrible - more like plain yoghurt with a bit of greenery chucked in to pretend it's mint. The lime pickle was rock solid, no good for dipping a poppadom in and I had to scrape it out and try and put it on the poppadom, which then kept breaking because it was like cement. The keema rice was totally bland, no flavour to it whatsoever. I had a lamb makani and it was cold and again, quite bland, and the lamb was very overcooked - I could barely chew it. The 1/4 tandoori chicken I ordered was very tough and dry. It's my first and last order from here. What a waste of £30!
Absolutely delicious! Stopped over in Cumbria and decided to order from here. The food came within an hour and was hot, fresh and very tasty. Best curry I've had in a while.
I have to say it was a total waste of £90. We ordered early yet it was 55 minutes late. Naan bread cold. Onion bhajis were swimming in grease. Lamb was so tough we threw it away. All in all a disaster. Will not be using again.
