Carlisle Taste Cafe

We arrived at 11.15am on Easter Monday where only the breakfast menu was available. We were informed that there were no avocados and no eggs which meant that five items on the menu were unavailable. When my husband suggested there was a supermarket beneath us with lots of eggs and avocados, we were told they cannot buy from the store. After ordering two croissants filled with spinach & mozzarella, they arrived burnt. My replacement was prompt and was actually quite tasty. I welcome a new cafe here after lamenting the closure of Sainsbury’s cafe but fear that this one may not be successful unless they ensure that menu items are available and food is not presented when burnt. Disappointed with our first visit.
