Namh Moon

Terrible experience in here last weekend. Service was slow even though the restaurant was quiet. The food came out cold, which was a bad start. We politely asked if they could take it back, which they did. A few minutes later the food arrived again, it was hot but one of the dishes was incorrect, as it was supposed to be served with noodles and they were missing. Instead of just apologising and going to get some noodles, the lady serving us took great offence. At first she said that she took the noodles off because she didn't think it would look right (??!!) and then changed her story and said that they have stopped serving the dish with noodles and hadn't got round to changing it on the menu. At no point was an apology or remedy offered for something that was clearly the fault of the restaurant. The server then didn't interact with us for the rest of our visit, no check back was done during our meal, and they sent over another member of staff to take the payment at the end. He was pleasant to us but could have started off by offering an apology and acknowledging what happened. By this point we just wanted to get out of the place so we paid and left as I didn't want to be on the receiving end of a bad attitude again. As eating out becomes more of a luxury, places like this have no hope of surviving when they can't even get the simple basics right.

One of our favourite restaurants to come to. Yes there's been little blips in the past with slow service but these things can happen and it seems to have totallly changed now for the better, plus the food has always been worth the wait. Gorgeous food tonight, great portion size, really good value and the restaurant inside is beautiful, manager is lovely too and clearly very passionate about his restaurant, service & customers 😊

The whole experience at Namh Moon was fantastic. The chicken satay was so flavourful and the peanut dipping sauce is something else! Massaman curry was really lovely too. Portion sizes were generous too. Highly recommend.
