Excellent food, best Sunday lunch, too much for me, but took home what I couldn’t eat, delicious gravy. Just perfect. Breaded fish and chips are perfect, cooked to perfection, homemade chips would just make it better than perfect. Absolutely worth a visit. Staff very attentive and friendly

Booked for Sunday carvery on recommendation of some friends. Super friendly staff made us feel very welcome, the food quality and choice was excellent, also made sure our gluten free daughter was well catered for and looked after too. All round great place for a Sunday dinner and likely good any other day of the week based on our experience. Well worth a visit 😄

The food was delicious, very well presented, and smelt amazing. The atmosphere was quiet for a Saturday night. Service was good except for forgetting an order that had been added on. However, they did give us it for free. The only thing I would say is the food is very expensive. Starters range from £8-£10, mains £14-£25 and desserts from £8 too. 3 courses, plus drinks, came to roughly £50 each. I would expect this for inner city Birmingham or London, not Carlisle. It seems very overpriced for where it is and for what you get.
