About

A physician referral service in Carlisle city centre, this practice is part of the Carlisle Healthcare group. The building has a large car park and disabled access, with a clean, well-maintained interior. Appointments can be made via the NHS app or the group’s e-consult service, with patients typically seeing an appropriate staff member promptly. The team includes GPs, nurses, and receptionists. The waiting area is noted for its cleanliness, though some have suggested additional seating options. The practice shares resources with other local healthcare providers under the same group.

What let's this place down, is if you live other end of city and you are disabled, how to get there. It's £15 each way for a taxi. There are buses, but I don't think they go to outside the place.

As with St Paul's Medical Practice, this Practice is part of the same group, namely Carlisle Healthcare. The practice as with the rest of the group spread around Carlisle has - as you would expect doctors, but also practice nurses. Dietitians and Pediatric nurses are available as well. Nevertheless, this been the same group, you still have the 8am dash, with every man and his dog trying to get an appointment. Also once you do get an appointment- NOT necessarily on the same day, your sent to one of the practices in the group, around the city. Now am nothing but fair! Having many practices means that there are more appointments, and more staff. Also again as I mentioned with St Paul's, once you're in the system with a health problem then your appointments will be steadily forthcoming. All in all the Practice as a whole is a good one. But it does suffer from the problems that every other practice suffers from up and down the country.
