About

A branch of Carlisle Central Practice, this medical centre provides GP services, nurse appointments and prescription services. Some patients have mentioned friendly doctors and receptionists, with smear tests among the services offered. The practice contacts patients by text for follow-up appointments regarding consultant letters or test results. Posters in the waiting area remind visitors about appointment punctuality.

Went here from an online consultation. Very patient person but this was ridiculous. Not my regular doctors but is another branch of Central Practice. AWFUL. Didn't even get seen. Came up as did not attend when sat there for an hour. Reception staff changed 3 times so explained each time. Still didn't get seen, even a manager tried to help as noticed I'd been sat for ages. Might aswell of not bothered, went for Mental Health, and came out worse than I went in. I'd never go back here. Shocking.

No wonder people don’t bother going to their doctors anymore made to feel like an idiot. Have had pain for a few months that has gradually got worse and was told by the Chinese doctor don’t know her name that I’m to put up with it till I get an xray as I’ve put up with it this long and I’m only young. I had asked for a fit note for breaks when needed as I work in hospitality 7 hour shifts. Didn’t realise young people had no ailments. Must be in my head, I am a woman after all. Shocking attitude considering her role in the community.

I had a very concerning experience at this pharmacy. The customer service was unprofessional and lacked empathy something especially important when dealing with sick or vulnerable patients. I was given the wrong prescription, and when I pointed it out, the pharmacist didn’t seem to know how to handle the situation. The person who served me appeared very young and, frankly, did not seem fully present or focused, which made the situation even more unsettling. This level of incompetence and disregard for patient care is unacceptable in any healthcare setting. Pharmacists have a responsibility to be alert, knowledgeable, and respectful none of which I saw during my visit. Kindly train your staff at this pharmacy well.
