Every single one of my nails is crooked and tilts to the right. It’s like the left side was an attempt at coffin and the right side is all square. When I asked the woman to fix them she was incredibly rude and grabbed my fingers and pushed them back under the plastic barrier and into my face and told me that my fingers were crooked, not the nails. When I insisted, she took out those cutters used to trim the plastic tips and was literally just going to rip them off without a drill or a soak. I got scared so I told her it was fine and to just finish. This was all pre polish as I tried to tell her as soon as I noticed they were crooked. Also, when I went in my nails were beautiful and long but she refused to do a manicure unless she cut my nails off and put tips on. I should have taken this as an immediate red flag and left but unfortunately I let her do it. She cut most of them so short that my finger tips hurt for days after. And she didn’t even clean up the under part of the nail. I have been doing my own nails for two years now with acrylic and dip powder (I’m in the middle of a move which is why I came here) so I know I’m very fussy when it comes to my nails, but they haven’t looked this bad since the first time I tried to do them myself. I even tipped her £10 because I felt bad complaining but I regret it because the more I look at them the more annoyed I get about how rude she was to me about the entire situation. In addition to that, when I was trying to pay she was only charging me for the manicure and I told her I hadn’t paid yet for the pedicure I receive and she yet again gave me an attitude because she thought I was asking for a pedicure last minute. I was literally just trying to be honest and pay for all of the services I received. However, the man who gave me a pedicure was extremely nice and if that were the only service I received that day, I would have left happy.
Carlisle nails spa is very kind and a great nail technician and every visit always a wonderful experience! She always makes my nails look great. No hesitation in recommending her!
Disgusting service was spoken to like it was my fault my nails were done as thin as a wafer for not telling them to do them thicker wouldn’t advise anyone to use these as this is the 3rd time I’ve had nails snap on 2 different sets, don’t waste your money go somewhere else
