Recently went to an evening workshop. Natalie was very well organised and set a lovely welcoming and encouraging tone for the evening. Her instructions were clear and feedback constructive and clear. After more than 30 years of not painting or drawing I am inspired and motivated to make a start. No doubt with the aid of a few more workshops at the Emporium. It is a lovely place to seek out a " different" more unique gift. Excellent

Fabulous little place in Carlisle. All sorts of courses for a variety of different interests with excellent drinks and bathroom facilities. Recently attended a medium evening, which was fabulous. The atmosphere in the shop was magical and Kathryn, the medium went out of her way to pass on as many messages as possible. I’ve also attended several different classes like soap and candle making. The staff are knowledgable and have high quality equipment available. There are also plenty of different options to make a final product you love. I’ve also recently found out a charity is ran from the shop to support vulnerable members of the community. I think this is a fab use of this wonderful local resource and bring opportunities to people who may not otherwise receive them. Finally as a shop they are fab. They stock all sorts of products made by local makers so support a wide range of people. I think it’s really important to support local independent businesses like this who give so much back to the community they are based in.
