They scammed thousands from us. They kept asking for more money to “continue the work,” and we later discovered they’d done a cowboy job on our roof. We had to stop them midway to prevent further damage. I’m not the type to pull down other people’s businesses, but I don’t want anyone else to go through what we did. RESPONSE TO THE OWNER: GREG, you can continue feeling “disappointed,” but the state of our roof speaks for itself. The work you carried out was so poor that a professional roofer had to come out on an emergency call. He took the photos I posted — not me — and he had to strip everything back because: • The tiles you installed didn’t even match the existing roof • They were not fitted correctly • And according to him, if the job had been left as it was, our roof wouldn’t have lasted another month For clarity, GREG: we bought this house outright. It is you who hasn’t paid what you owe — including the scaffolders you hired. We ended up paying the remaining balance because you didn’t settle your bill. Everything I’ve said here is fact. Since posting about our experience, several people have messaged me sharing similar stories — saying they also trusted your company because of misleading reviews. So this is a clear warning to anyone considering this company: Do NOT get scammed the way we did. Check everything, get proper references, and please learn from our experience before hiring them.

Brilliant service from Sterling Roofing Carlisle. Mikey and Jordan turned up on time, talked me through the options and got the repair sorted without any hassle. Everything left clean and tidy afterwards.
