Customer Reviews
dont bother, first trip lovely and smooth. I dont live at the property told it didn't matter. Should have got a clue when I had to go twice as they didn't ask the correct measuring person to go and cancelled then would have saved myself so much stress. Should also have got a clue when I took time off work to finalize and the salesperson had called in but no one told me or cancelled my appt was left waiting a while. Still went ahead. Big mistake, job botched, chased refit, finally got a date, then it was changed, then confirmed, then cancelled at 15:30 the day before after I planned time off work. New date booked for a day I said explicitly i was in hospital. No response since then. I'm moving stuff over friday and cannot get my bed in due to doors being all over the floor. Showroom disorganization carried through to incompetance with every part of the company I dealt with. Don't bother. Also initiated finance before job finished as others have said. Dishonest at worst, incompetant at best. Edit: despite promises no one has reached out to me. I have been told doors won't be replaced as they are "within tolerance" if I do not get a response soon I will be escalating this. Attaching photos since this is work wren apparently think are acceptable. None of these doors shut they warped and are cut too short, I am unsure if a factory or a measuring error and wren do not seem interested in finding out. Edit: went back to finance company and complained, wren promised escalation then said it was a final decision they'd fix one door but not the others, went back to finance wren promised another look, same decision. Am escalating further via finance, nightmare company very insulting to see them on social media patting themselves on the back on DIY SOS for helping disabled people when as a disabled customer I was treated with indifference at best downright rudeness at worst and they have made me so ill with stress I have relapsed several times. If you are considering it, run just run. They don't care.
„I am extremely satisfied with the service from Wren Kitchens. All the issues were resolved and professionally. The installer Carl was very polite and went above and beyond by adjusting all the hinges, which made the whole kitchen work perfectly. The customer service was outstanding, and the entire process was smooth and hassle-free. I would definitely recommend Wren Kitchens to anyone looking for quality, reliability, and genuine care for the customer.”
Our experience with Wren Kitchens has been full of frustrations from start to finish. The first major issue was the lack of communication from the Carlisle branch. I had to chase repeatedly for the final design and payment link just so we could get a delivery date. From 16th April to 21st May, it took 35 days just to place the order, which is ridiculous for a company of this size. When the kitchen finally arrived, the problems continued. Multiple items were damaged on delivery, followed by roughly seven additional deliveries due to further damaged components. Wren also got the measurements wrong for a corner section, despite me providing clear evidence, and initially tried to charge us for the alternative units — something that was only resolved after more back-and-forth. We then had even more issues with the ducting unit supplied with the induction hob, which turned out to be incompatible. After many emails, they refunded it and I sourced the correct one myself within a few days. Another unnecessary delay. From the first delivery on 19th June to the final resolution on 20th September, the whole saga lasted 93 days. What goes unseen in that timeline is the additional cost of coordinating tradespeople around repeated delays, the extended time needed to get the kitchen fitted, and the overall stress of trying to project-manage mistakes that shouldn’t have happened in the first place. Wren seem to have no appreciation for the level of disruption their poor service caused. To add to it all, the quality of the kitchen has been disappointing. The wrapped MDF is far too prone to scratches and dents, and the Matt Emerald Green finish is a fingerprint magnet. You would think this would be a key consideration in the design stage. Overall, while the kitchen looks good from a distance, the experience, quality, and customer care have not lived up to expectations — hence the 2-star rating.
