Friendly! And love the attention to detail (they wash the fish so clean and I didn’t have any problems with leftover scales). Great array of fresh and frozen produce. Also close to supermarkets and other African/Caribbean stores so it’s really a ‘one stop shop street.’
Bought 2 boxes of snapper fish for £25 each for Easter. I came home the fish extremely was old and frost bitten. The box was dated November 2024, Its very sad to see the poor quality food that is being sold to the community. My only regret is not returning the both for a refund! I will not be returning, in future I will stick to going to chorlton fishmongers.
Good quality meat and fish shop, its always clean and well stocked . Of recent 2015 now stocking Caribbean and African food stocks dried foods and vegetables . On holidays time always good to get there early but shop has quick serving staff.
