The best gym I’ve been too. Reminds me of the way gyms used to be before corporate took over. Paul, the owner is great and you can tell he takes pride in the gym. The only gym you should go to if staying in the area. Has everything you need and they are opened the times listed on here. Only £4.5 for day pass. Bring cash.
I use to go to this gym back in the early 90s when it was owned by Wilf. Great gym, classes and people. It appears to have retained the features of the original gyms which were popular with the true bodybuilders of that era.
Found another hidden gem. Great old school gym. Has everything you could need and much more. Great owner and a friendly place at any time of day. Definitely worth a visit.
