The station itself is a historic building, and the car park is noted for its proximity to the cathedral. Some find it straightforward to access, with ample space for standard-sized vehicles. Security measures are in place, and bike parking is available without time restrictions for cyclists. The car park serves as a practical option for rail travellers and visitors to the city centre.

I wish for my attention to be brought to the car park , at the railway station. Due to ongoing roadworks, in front of the station. I was directed towards the car park, which I did not want to use. Regret doing so. I was waiting for someone from the train. My preference and instinct, to drive round and return. The man insisted on my entering the car park. On my arrival, only 1 disabled bay available, by the wall. Once parked, couldn't open door wide enough to leave the car. To make things worse, some person decided to park their motorbike, directly behind my car, which didn't give room to move, to say the least. Conclusion. Never again!
Found a convenient bike parking spot right outside at the cycle parking area. Was there for four hours with no hassle from anyone.
The parking spot is super easy to get to and has great security, so you can relax knowing your car is safe. Plenty of room, so you won't have to squeeze in. It might cost a bit more than other places, but it's worth it for the peace of mind you get from knowing your ride is protected.
