A granite cenotaph designed by Scottish architect Sir Robert Lorimer in 1922, commemorating the fallen of both world wars with regimental crests and incised lettering. It stands in Rickerby Park, a green space near Carlisle city centre with paths for walking, running and cycling, including a footbridge connecting to the Arts College. The park is used for picnics, dog walking and geocaching, with the cenotaph as its focal point.

A granite Cenotaph designed and built by Sir Robert Lorimer in 1922. The memorial has County, Town and regimental crests at the base and a wreath at the top.The original WW1 lettering is incised into the stone. There is a separate bronze plaque, which was later added to commemorate World War II. The memorial includes two park benches each having a commemorative inscription carved into the seat backs
Large park for walking running or cycling. The foot bridge is reopened so you can walk from near Warick Road to the Arts College
