Avoid at all costs. I would give zero stars if I could. Linda was supposed to clean my holiday cottages. She was incapable of cleaning and her attempts were sub-standard. I had to re-clean them before the guests arrived. On one occasion Linda attempted to clean the oven. She was struggling with removing the glass. I asked her not to remove it saying I would get my daughter to do it. She ignored me and broke the glass. It was a new oven which cost me approximately £600. Unfortunately it was during Covid and I was unable to get replacement glass (there was none in the country). Linda, the company owner, said that she would go straight to Currys and buy me a new oven as there was a guest coming in later in the day. She then said that she wasn't insured for cleaning and would have to buy it on HP. I felt really sorry for her and I said I would buy it and she could pay me back. She didn't pay me back. I could have taken her to the small claims court. I feel I would have been successful with all the text messages I had from her stating she had broke the glass and she would buy me a new oven. But I decided not to as I felt she was new in business & had a family to support. I am now finding that she is making derogatory comments about me on social media and involving other people who I don't even know!. So unprofessional.
Used the service weekly for 9 months; while there are a lot of specifics, the issues boiled down to lack of time keeping/inadequate communication around this and lack of consistency in the standard of service from person to person. Despite us being overly accommodating, reasonable and amicable (to the point where we turned a blind eye to certain incidents), the last straw was due to a situation including the above and unprofessional behaviour, for which we received no acknowledgement, apology or attempt to rectify the matter.
Queen of gleam were amazing. The team were friendly and worked well in my home, very impressed with what they have done. Reasonable prices and you will not be disappointed!! I will definitely be using them again.
