About
A converted fire station turned live music venue, this spot hosts intimate gigs with tribute bands and touring acts. The bar serves drinks including beer, and there’s a cloakroom for convenience. The space retains original features from its past use, with standing areas that create an energetic setting for performances. Located near public transport, it has nearby parking with free on-street options in the evenings. Some events are seated, and accessibility arrangements can be made in advance. The venue is also used for meetings and daytime gatherings, with coffee available.
Customer Reviews
My first time at the venue and as a recently disabled patron. This gig was seated but on reading the site info I understand if you contact in advance they will assist you with stools. Great sized venue, not huge but not tiny and the sound was excellent too. Staff were friendly and helpful in person and on the phone. The only issue I had was turning up earlier for accessible entry which didn't happen but it wasn't a massive thing. Toilets are all ground floor too, and the disabled toilet was spotless and easily accessible. Love the overall size and layout of the venue and will definitely be back.
First time attending a show at the old fire station and we were amazed how well the space has been used. Very friendly staff and great drinks on offer at the bar.
Great venue with great sound too. Standing only bit this only adds to the atmosphere. Beer was also good value for money. Only around 5 mins walk from the bus station. 10 from the train station. Definitely worth another visit
