Wee stay over the new year Monday to Friday beautiful hotel it has aged so gracefully so don't expect perfection but service from all departments in hotel was 10/10 .|Bed was comfortable, a bit drafty from windows needs insulation. |Breakfast was attended meticulously by staff wee enjoyed the friendly atmosphere the Scottish lady was professional and very funny |The main meals were great bar staff friendly only thing missing was cocktails ahhhh |Will be back 💯 %

Our room was quaint and a bit quirky but I adore these features. Not a modern hotel , the lift is wonderfully eccentric. There is a sense of timeless quality in every aspect. Will definitely return. 💯
Had a fantastic couple nights stay at the Crown and Mitre Hotel. Service was excellent throughout the stay, especially the breakfast catering staff. My family and I were awed by the hospitality. Overlooking Carlisle city centre the locations could not have been better (definitely check out the cathedral which the hotel sits right next to). Highly recommend opting in for breakfast, eggs done to perfection. The family room we stayed in was a bit dated but fulfilled it's purpose and we all had a great night's sleep. If in the area again, we will be returning.
