About
A landscaped roundabout in Carlisle city centre, Hardwicke Circus features well-maintained floral displays in its central island. The surrounding paths are accessible and connect to nearby Bitts Park. The space is known for its neat planting schemes and views of the civic centre, particularly after dark. Drivers use the gyratory system, while pedestrians can walk through the area or use the underpass. The council maintains the communal spaces here to a high standard, with seasonal flowers adding colour.

Great place. Stayed all day. Loved it. Going back tomorrow
It's a roundabout really although I suspect Google is referring to part of bits park. Bitts park and it's surrounding area is lovely and worth 5 starts So as far as the roundabout goes okay it's fine unless you want to get into the debate of temporary versus permanent versus no lights...
A brilliant place to visit. The flowers in the middle always look perfect. The paths are wheelchair friendly and the view of the civic centre at night is beautiful.
