Thank you 🙏 We lost power to our downstairs sockets. Checked the consumer board, all switches fine but funny smell and the box was hot. Immediately isolated the supply and phoned the company. We were unsure if they would be able to help at such short notice. Martin answered and was extremely helpful. We sent some photos of the unit via WhatsApp and he then sent an electrician to check it out. Jonny was excellent, after opening the unit it was clear that a major disaster had been averted, burnt wires and a couple of switches ruined (see pic). He then set about repairing the damage. We now have power and feel safe in the knowledge that a professional and quality repair has been undertaken. We have not received an invoice yet, but note from the previous review that they find the hourly rate excessive. We are not too concerned about this, what I am happy with is that a potentially major incident in our home has been averted and rectified in a professional and timely manner.
