Stayed over as a night stop from Edinburgh to London. Double bedroom was spacious, and clean and smells nice bathroom and had complimentary tea, coffee AND water AND Biscuits. Shower and food including breakfast variety was good and reasonably priced. WiFi is okay. Its has onsite parking, restaurant and bar. Friendly staff. Hairdryer and iron too. Only issues from stop giving it a 5 is electric kettle doesn't have a power source base which is a fire hazard, no dental kit, not enough power points, no AC, not enough wall hangers and the tvs are not smart but plasma tvs and its on a main road. No pens to write on notepad. No hotwater to shower after 9pm.
Have stayed here before and loved the place that much we came back for another stay. The reception staff was unfortunately not as welcoming as our previous visit! Rude, obnoxious and arrogant…really let the tone of the place down. Thankfully, the hotel and room was immaculate and we enjoyed our stay nonetheless.
Fantastic location, very clean, tidy and well maintained a lot of money has been spent and you can tell. The staff were very friendly welcoming and helpful it was very peaceful and quiet the water was super hot so didn’t have to wait for hot water I would definitely return left feeling valued thank you for a great night sleep
