Friendly family run b&b. Rooms are clean, well presented and comfortable. Breakfast is fabulous. No evening meals available on site but would highly recommend The Greyhound Pub nearby. You can also order in take away food and eat in the dining room. Easy access from/for M6. Once the major roadworks finished it will be even easier access. Highly recommended

We stayed over on the 8th of august to break up a long drive to Scotland. It is an easy place to find with parking. There is no formal check in as the owners also own and run a pub down the road. The keys were in the door and the room was big enough for two adults and two kids. It had what we needed for a night, the room was warm and the beds were fine. The breakfast was perfectly fine. There are plenty of places to eat at night along with the owners pub and close proximity to Carlisle and the M6. For the price it was all fine and the owners were very pleasant and accommodating.

Very comfortable and the hostess couldn't have been kinder or more helpful; great breakfast choices to speed us on our way. And proper milk in a fridge to have with tea in the room!! The rooms were comfortable and clean and my 2 small dogs were welcomed too. My only reservation was that there was a strong smell of drains in my (perfectly clean) single room - hopefully only temporary!
