Stayed over in motorhome on way to and from Scotland. Free if eating or drinking in pub. Had a meal and a pint both times. Good decent food at reasonable prices. 24 hour toilets in clean condition. No hook up unless staying at Aire next door (chargeable). Staff great and service good. Book early if wanting to eat as it gets very busy. A great stopover highly recommended.
Stayed at the pods twice now at Metal Bridge. Fantastic little place overlooking the river and fields. The pods are very clean, have a verandah overlooking the fields, clean toilet facilities and the pub menu is great, great food and lovely staff. Highly recommend this place for a quick stopover.
Lovely pub!! Great food!! Fab staff!!! We had dad’s 80th birthday lunch here recently having had a Xmas lunch here also. Food is reasonably priced, tasty and hot! Staff are Lovely and made us all feel so welcome. Even cutting up our cake for us and providing plates!! Lovely warm atmosphere, traditional pub. Highly recommend and we will be back!
