The gyros are a particular standout—perfectly seasoned, juicy, and packed with flavor. What really sets this place apart, though, is the service. The hosts are absolutely lovely; they are incredibly welcoming and generous, making you feel like a guest in their own home rather than just a customer.
I read about Just Greek in an AirBNB guidebook where we have been staying for the last few days. It was highly recommended so after looking at the website I decided I wanted to try some Gyros. I visited and got talking to the owner Yannis. The reason it’s so good is that the Pork comes from Greece already seasoned. I have to say it was absolutely fantastic. Having let me try a piece I decided on a medium meal box with both chicken and pork. This has to be the best Gyros I’ve had since I was in Greece last, nothing else has come close. No wonders Yannis and his Wife have won so many awards! I couldn’t eat in as I have a Dog, they do a meal deal if you can for £11 which includes a pint of IPA.
My partner is Greek, we both love Greek food and we’ve always struggled to find one that’s so authentic, this one looked great by the pictures and as we were coming to the lakes we decided to go, it was worth it! Absolutely gorgeous food, amazing price , portion, and everything was so tasty, soft chips, tzatziki 10/10, lovely meat, the orange cake was delicious too. Yannis and Maria were so lovely to talk to and so welcoming, really appreciated us coming. The only downside is that unfortunately we live an hour and half away so looks like we’re going to have to travel far to get some decent Greek food again! 🤣😋🇬🇷 mmmmm
